Day
01: Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met and transported to your hotel.
After your overseas flight, your can relax during the remainder of the
afternoon and evening. For dinner, you may eat in the hotel or explore
local restaurants.

Day 02: Beijing
Your
first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across
the Tiananmen Square - the largest
and most imposing public square in the world. Through the Meridian Gate
on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden
City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon,
you will visit the Temple of Heaven
where the emperor, twice each year, would visit to thank the Gods for
a good harvest and pray for the new one. To complement a memorable start
to your tour, you will have Beijing Duck
Dinner at the famous century-old Quan Ju De restaurant followed
by a fascinating Peking Opera performance.

Day
03: Beijing
You will follow the Chinese saying "you are not a real human being
until you climb up on the great wall” at the Badaling
Great Wall of China, more than 2, 500 years old. The wall was constructed
to protect China from the savage Northern tribes. The wall construction
was initiated in 200 B.C. during the Qin Dynasty and was finished around
the 15th century during the Ming Dynasty, which lasted for 10 dynasties.
After the Great Wall, you will visit Dingling, one of the Ming
Tombs – the burial site of royalty during the Ming Dynasty.
It took 10 years from Dingling's discovery develop the site.
Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred
Way, an avenue where large animal statues stand guard. (B,

Day 04: Beijing - ChengDu
You will be transported to the airport for your flight to ChengDu,
Capital of SiChuan Province, home of the famous giant pandas and the
fabled gateway to Tibet. Upon your arrival, you will be transported
to your hotel where you can relax.

Day 05: ChengDu
You
will be sightseeing. Highlights include
Dufu Cottage and Baoguangsi
Monastery. (B, L, D)
Day 06: ChengDu - Lhasa
You will fly to Lhasa, capital of Tibet and center of mystical Tibetan
Buddhism. You'll be free this afternoon at the hotel to relax and adjust
to the altitude.

Day 07: Lhasa
A
full day of sightseeing includes the
Jokhang Temple, local
bazaar and Lhasa Summer
Palace. (B, L, D)
Day 08: Lhasa
Highlight of your visit to Lhasa will be your morning tour of the Potala Palace, the 1000-room former home of the Dalai Lama. Visit a typical
Tibetan monastery this afternoon.

Day 09: Lhasa - ChengDu
Return
via air to Chengdu, where you'll enjoy more sightseeing in this fascinating
city as time allows.

Day 10: ChengDu – Beijing
You will be transported to the airport and fly back to Beijing. Upon
your arrival, you will be met and transported to your hotel. You will
relax for the remainder of the afternoon and evening and explore at
your leisure.

Day
11: Departure from Beijing
Having completed your memorable China tour, today you will be transported
to the airport for your flight home. (B)
